Mezzaluna Limoncello Review

A very contemporary bottle makes this a nice looking addition to your liquor cabinet or freezer. The color is a medium yellow, darker than most. It smells exactly like Pledge.

It has fairly strong lemon flavors and pretty potent heat on the finish despite a middling 30% (60 proof) alcohol content. In some ways Mezzaluna reminds me a lot of my own batches. It has a substantial off flavor that I can’t place but it’s chemical in nature. I suspect inadequate filtering as the culprit for this.
