Behold, the Ariana Grande...so named because you think it's Mexican but really it's 100% Italian. Actually, it's a mix of both but I'm keeping the name 'cuz it's funny.
Since Mexico stole (and bedazzled) the Italian flag, we're going to return the favor by borrowing a few ingredients from south of the border. Normally I love jalapeƱos and cilantro like the President loves Puerto Rico, but in this drink the flavors just meld together and work.
I love this photo because it appears to be poured down from heaven (just like Ariana). And if you look closely you can see that even the margarita glass is very excited about this drink.
- 4 oz Tequila
- 4 oz Limoncello
- 1 whole Fresh JalapeƱo Pepper
- 2 oz Simple Syrup
- 4 oz Pineapple Juice
- 0.5 cup Fresh Pineapple
- 1 bunch Fresh Cilantro
- Smoked Sea Salt, Lime Slices (for garnish)

Combine all ingredients (except garnishes) in a high-powered blender with 3-5 ice cubes.

Dip the rim of a margarita glass into simple syrup, then smoked salt.

Pour blended drink into prepared glass.
