Basil-Infused Vodka

Ingredients

1 cup lightly packed basil leaves, rinsed and patted dry

Preparation

Pour the vodka into a clean, 2-quart container with a tight-fitting lid.

Add basil to the vodka. Allow the spirits to infuse for 24 hours, away from direct sunlight and intense heat. Strain and discard basil.

Using a funnel, pour the liqueur into the original bottle or another container.

Age one week away from light and heat.
